About Connvia
The Story Behind
the Signal
We started because we were tired of reviews that read like press releases. Consumer tech deserves better journalism.
Born from Frustration
Connvia launched in 2023 when a group of tech journalists grew tired of the sponsored content pipeline. We'd seen too many "reviews" that were just repackaged spec sheets with affiliate links — and readers deserved better.
Today, we're a dedicated team of editors, videographers, and network engineers covering everything from flagship smartphone launches to 5G rollout maps. Our reviews are funded by readers, not brands.
We test every device in our San Francisco lab with standardized benchmarks, real-world battery drain tests, and multi-carrier signal comparisons. No shortcuts, no embargoed opinions.
Our Foundation
What Drives Us
Transparency
Every review discloses how we got the device. We never accept payment for coverage. Our scoring rubric is public.
Rigor
Standardized benchmarks across every device category. We test battery, display, camera, and connectivity with repeatable methods.
Community
Our readers shape our coverage. The most-requested devices jump the review queue. Your questions become our buying guides.
